Dr. Venkatanarasimhan has 14 years of experience in the surgical speciality.  He is a Board-certified Minimal Access Surgeon and has vast experience in various Gastrointestinal surgical procedures in both open and advanced Laparoscopic surgeries. He was instrumental in the establishment of advanced laparoscopic surgeries and bariatric surgeries at Bangalore Baptist Hospital and has been the backbone of Interventional Endoscopic Procedures at our institute.

He is known for his competence in handling complex abdominal surgeries and is considered as a mentor by his junior colleagues. As a part of the institute, he has rendered his surgical services at various rural missionary centres in the country. He has been a part of the postgraduate academic training program at BBH, as a Guide and a DNB teacher and is the DNB Academic coordinator. He is instrumental in initiating various clinical and academic programmes in our institution. He has also trained several undergraduate students from the International Medical School, Malaysian University. His amicable nature makes him a very approachable person.
