Dr. Walter A is currently working as Consultant Nephrologist in Bangalore Baptist Hospital. He is a physician with a holistic approach in the management of his patients. He is adept in Internal Medicine with a thorough knowledge and interest in the management of Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, infectious diseases, rheumatological disorders etc. In the field of Nephrology he has special interest not only with General Nephrology but also in Transplant Nephrology and management of solid organ transplant patients. He has been exposed to interventional Nephrology during his training period and he has special interest in procedures such as tunnelled/ chronic dialysis catheter insertion, difficult cases of central venous & temporary dialysis catheter placement, surveillance & monitoring of AV fistulas, USG guided real-time kidney biopsy ( both native and transplant kidney biopsies).
