Dr. Vijay Kamath has extensive experience as a spine surgeon specializing in microsurgery and endoscopic surgery for lumbar and cervical disc problems, minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS)for spine fusion. He specialises in spine deformity (scoliosis and hunchback) correction and surgery for degenerative, infection, fractures and tumour.  He has developed a new approach in the revision spine surgery. Dr. Kamath believes not only in the medical or surgical treatment of the patients’ spine problem but also in the rehabilitative care of the patient.

He has numerous publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals and contributed to numerous textbooks and monographs. He has been invited as faculty to many CME’s, conferences and operative spine courses in India and abroad.
